Danny McCrystal

Danny McCrystal
PRESIDENT


Danny McCrystal founded Generation Energy, Inc. in 2005. Since that time, he has built a team of dedicated, capable and enthusiastic professionals to prudently grow the business. As President of Generation Energy, Inc., he is responsible for the company's vision, growth strategy, and the execution of all projects. His strong level of commitment to Generation Energy finds him interacting with a wide breadth of key stake holders in projects from landowners to financial institutions to legislative leaders. Prior to transitioning into the renewable energy field, Danny had a diverse career where he has excelled in leadership, business management and technology roles. As an entrepreneur, he owned and operated his own company as an independent producer in the music industry. Most recently he spent eleven years at America Online, where he built a reputation for constant innovation, managing teams in the technologies, creative and marketing departments. While at America Online, he was named as an inventor on a patent. Danny holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Virginia.

Meaghan Downey Kolebuck

GENERAL COUNSEL


Meaghan serves as General Counsel on the Generation Energy executive team. She is responsible for the oversight and management of corporate governance and compliance as well as a broad range of legal work related to the development, construction, and operation of Generation Energy’s wind and solar projects throughout the United States. Prior to joining Generation Energy, Meaghan was a real estate transactional attorney with Reed Smith for eight years and consequently brings extensive real estate development experience to Generation Energy. Meaghan graduated with a J.D. in 1997 from Catholic University’s Columbus School of Law and with a B.A. in 1991 from Georgetown University.

Edward Sears

Edward Sears
DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS INFRASTRUCTURE


Edward manages all areas of information technology at Generation Energy. As Director of Business Infrastructure, Edward provides strategic guidance on implementing scalable solutions to support Generation Energy’s growing business. Previously, he worked at America Online for fourteen years. At America Online he had a diversified career working in technology support, then as a Producer for Music Channel building online areas. He also spent time as an Interactive Media Developer in the Creative Services department. His most recent role at America Online was a Principal Software Developer in the Engineering group. Edward holds a B.A. in Music Synthesis from Berklee College of Music.

Seth Wilmore

Seth Wilmore
MANAGER, ENVIRONMENTAL AND PERMITTING


As Generation Energy's Environmental Manager, Seth demonstrates the company's commitment to the environment. He is responsible for assessing potential environmental issues at the onset of projects and handling relationships with environmental agencies. Seth manages the environmental studies that need to be conducted, as well as what permits need to be obtained, for a project. Additionally, he is developing corporate environmental procedure and policy documents. Seth joined Generation Energy directly after receiving his Master of Science in Environmental Science and Policy from George Mason University. Seth also holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from Allegheny College.

Karl Keller

SENIOR LAND DEVELOPER


Karl is the first employee Danny McCrystal hired to help grow Generation Energy. In 2006, Karl took over the day-to-day operations of land development. He started his career at Generation Energy by skillfully building long-term relationships with landowners and communities. As the Land Development team grew, Karl was instrumental in training other Land Developers. In his role of Land Developer, Karl has become an expert on the entire processes of building wind farms. Before joining Generation Energy, Karl had a diverse background with multi-discipline experiences ranging from the New York Commodity Exchange to residential real estate, and most recently, managing his parents all natural cattle farm near Charlottesville, Virginia. Karl attended the University of South Carolina where he earned his B.S. degrees in both Marketing and Management.

Tom McCrystal

LAND DEVELOPER


Tom's extensive background in real estate and wealth management provide a great benefit in his role of Land Developer. He was a broker consultant for a large insurance company and then started his own business in insurance and securities serving commercial and corporate clients. In 1980, Tom expanded his business to include real estate and became associated with Royer and McGavock focusing on commercial, estate and farm property in addition to developing residential apartments and rehabilitating historic buildings financed with federal and state tax credits. In 1994 Tom, along with a partner, purchased Royer and McGavock. He served in the Army at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York and attended the University of Rhode Island.
